  • Robert MacDonald DVM

    Owner / Veterinarian

    After graduating from Kearsarge Regional high school in 1982, Dr. MacDonald went to the University of New Hampshire where he received his Bachelor of Science in 1987, and a Bachelor of Arts in 1989. In 1991 Dr. MacDonald began at Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in Massachusetts where he graduated in 1995 with his Doctorate in Veterinary medicine. Dr. MacDonald enjoys spending his free time reading, and growing flowers as well as taking care of his four dogs, seven cats, seven cows, three horses, six geese, six sheep, and thirty-five chickens.

  • Deirdre Haley

    Practice Manager

    In 2010 Deirdre graduated High School and started her college career at Lakes Region Community College for freshman year and transferred to the University of New Hampshire to study Pre-Veterinary medicine, followed by studying Biology at Plymouth State University. Deirdre has her Associates degree in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Health Sciences, but is still working towards her Bachelors degree in Biology. Deirdre enjoys spending time with her two cats, Meatball and Bear, as well as trying to keep up with Finch the Border Collie.

  • Rachel Marden

    Certified Veterinary Technician, Head Technician

    When asked in elementary school what she wanted to be when she grew up, Rachel knew her career would be in the veterinary field. After graduation from Laconia High School, she attended Mount Ida College in Newton Massachusetts where she received her Bachelor's of Animal Science, majoring in Veterinary Technology. In May of 2013, before graduating, Rachel did an internship here at MacDonald Veterinary Services, and began working soon after graduation. When Rachel is not at work she enjoys spending time at home with her three cats and Harry the Newfie.

  • Richard Montminy DVM

    Assistant Veterinarian

    Dr. Montminy attended Mississippi State University for both undergraduate and veterinary school, he graduated in 1998. He's been practicing veterinary medicine since graduation. Dr. Montminy enjoys outdoor activities and rooting for the New England Patriots.

    Veterinary Assistant 

    Celia is currently a Senior at Gilford High School and is excited to start her college career in hopes to become a veterinarian. Celia is very interested in surgery and hopes to work as a surgeon. When Celia isn't working or studying she enjoys spending time with her family and hiking with her dogs Belle and Callie.
